What is CLP?
CLP stands for the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures.
All wax melts and candles sold in the EU & UK require this information to be visible on home fragrance products such as wax melts, candles, room sprays, diffusers or any product made using fragrance oils and essential oils. These labels allow you, the customer, to see any possible allergens. This is very much like when food items specify whether the product contains a component that could trigger a persons allergies, and are purely for precaution.
CLP is a legal requirement and you may come across wax melt/ candle vendors who state they are 'CLP compliant' which means that their items are labelled following CLP guidelines.
It is the customers responsibility to cease using an item if they believe it has triggered such allergies.
Please see below the following images which outlines the CLP information for each scent in the snapbar boxes.
